April 29, 2005, Lawrence Bondulich opened his first restaurant with his father Anselmo Bondulich. They sold their old West Village spot, “Bondini’s” in 1999 which Anselmo owned since 1972. Bin 71 is a continuation of their life and love of the NYC restaurant scene!

Today it has evolved to be a prominent, warm, professional neighborhood wine bar/ restaurant! The Wine Bar version of Cheers, if you will! Bin 71 is proud and happy for all the stories and amazing glasses of wine, great food and authentic neighborhood experiences it has gone through since opening its doors. So much love is here! Through every glass, plate & personal experience, Bin 71 is blessed to be here!

Bin focuses its wines today with much passion in old world as well as new, biodynamic, organic and natural wines globally. The kitchen is globally focused as well; ranging from home made pastas to cheese plates, small global tapas plates to local seasonal changes. Dishes ranging from a signature burger to ceviches, to grilled octopus to home made desserts as well.
